LARK LOVE

After getting their initial branding through an agency and finding that their communication styles weren't working well together, the incredible ladies at Lark Love Botanicals reached out to me to see if I could take over as their head of design. Of course, I was delighted as I had been a fan of their products and loved their bright and colorful aesthetic.
I have created a multitude of different collateral for them, ranging anywhere from informational flyers to pitch decks and ad creation.
PITCH DECK
As a start up business, they needed many iterations of their pitch deck for investors. The key was an easy to follow layout that showcases their commitment to women's empowerment and organic ingredients. Sexual wellness is often seen as a taboo subject, but Lark's mission hinges upon shame-free discussion of sexual needs and their pitch deck maintains that light and positive attitude while also showcasing their brand against the competition.
I have also created several email templates, using Klayvio, to increase their brand's reach. The colors and the imagery really capture the all-natural, botanical aspects of their product and create a cozy feeling for the recipient to be enveloped in a safe space to talk and learn about sexual wellness and body positivity.
PACKAGING DESIGN
As a company whose target audience tends to lean female, beautiful and luxurious packaging was a must. When I joined the team they had only bottles with no exterior packaging and they wanted boxes to contain their products for retail sales.
I wanted to make sure that each design was unique enough to distinguish on a shelf, but had cohesiveness throughout.
AD CREATION
In a world saturated with advertising, Lark wanted something that would really make the viewer sit up and pay attention. The key was to use bold imagery and cheeky copy to poke fun at the way we talk about "lube". I designed a series of ads for online distribution as well as coming up with all of the copy shown.
The end result isn't your average ad and makes the viewer work a little harder to figure out what the product is. This increases clicks and drives online revenue, if only through curiosity.
As Lark continues to grow, they are placing their product in higher end and more prestigious retail outlets and have been featured in Vogue magazine and have their products available at the famed Los Angeles store, Erewhon.
WEBSITE SLIDERS
While I was not directly involved with the creation of their website, I created a series of hero images to be used as website sliders. These designs use the full breadth of Lark's impactful brand colors and collateral.
